Christian Türcke is Managing Director of StarDev SE. StarDev is characterised by its unique expertise in franchise development and is active as a partner for several international brands, primarily in German-speaking countries. StarDev assumes responsibility in all relevant areas of franchising: from the recruitment of franchisees to the selection of the best locations, market support and the maintenance of brand standards.

As a software developer in the 1990s, Christian Türcke was involved in the initial phase of the Internet with an IT consulting company he founded. Born in Munich, he has been actively involved in franchising for over 25 years. During this time, he was a pioneer for Subway, one of the world's largest franchise chains, enabling it to enter the German market as early as 2000. During his many years as a development agent, the brand opened over 200 restaurants in the areas entrusted to him and established itself permanently thanks to rapid and sustainable growth.

Franchising is a great opportunity for many budding entrepreneurs to establish themselves quickly, successfully and sustainably in the market with the guidance and support of a strong franchising center.

As Chairman of the Franchise Partner Department, I see my role as actively promoting the exchange of experience and networking between partners of all franchise systems in German-speaking countries. I am pleased to be able to accompany and advance the topic of franchising in a future-oriented manner within the framework of the BFW.
